Apply the oil to the skin and massage in long strokes. For a more comfortable experience, massage from the heart outwards rather than towards the heart. Alternate gentle strokes with firmer movements and higher pressure, ensuring that all tension in the muscles is released.

For an enhanced experience, warm the massage oil in a warm water bath before applying it to the body. Pour the oil you intend to use into a small drinking glass and place it in a bowl of warm water for five minutes. Warm tap water at about 45 degrees Celsius will do the trick. This also releases some of the essential oils into the air, creating a wonderful atmosphere with your chosen scent.
