How do large-size condoms work?
The nominal width of a condom corresponds to half its flat circumference; this is the key measurement, not the length. A difference of just a few millimeters in this measurement radically changes the sensation: a condom that is too tight reduces sensitivity, restricts circulation, and leads to premature removal. Conversely, a model that is too wide loses grip and increases the risk of slipping.
My Size has had its products certified to the ISO 4074 standard, which governs burst resistance and leak-proofing. The My Size Pro 69 mm and 72 mm models are among the few large-size condoms that combine high-quality natural latex, an anatomical reservoir, and a regular thickness of approximately 0.07 mm, placing them in the ultra-thin category. About 15% of men have an erect penis width with a circumference greater than 12 cm, which corresponds to a nominal width of 57 mm or more: this is precisely My Size's target.
The different My Size condom formats
- 69 mm format: 69 mm nominal width, ideal for larger body types; available in boxes of 3, 10, or 36 units to suit all needs, from testing to regular supply.
- 72 mm format: the most generous size in the My Size Pro range, recommended for larger circumferences; same availability in boxes of 3, 10, and 36.
- Pro range: optimized version with a slightly more flexible material and a reinforced reservoir, designed to maximize sensation while maintaining reliable protection.
- Economy boxes (x36): bulk format for daily use or for established couples, with a significantly lower unit cost compared to smaller boxes.
How to choose the right My Size condom
- Measure before buying: wrap a flexible tape measure around the erect penis; dividing the result by 2 gives the ideal nominal width to look for. A measurement between 60 and 65 mm points towards the 63 mm, while anything above points towards the 69 or 72 mm.
- Prioritize latex or look for an alternative: My Size Pro models are made of natural latex; in case of allergy, it is recommended to look at other products available in our Condoms collection.
- Choose the right quantity: boxes of 3 are for testing the size, boxes of 10 are suitable for occasional use, and boxes of 36 are more economical for regular use.
- Use a compatible lubricant: with a latex condom, only water-based or silicone-based lubricants are compatible; oils degrade latex. Discover our selection of lubricants to complete your choice.
- Check the expiration date: a condom stored in a wallet or exposed to heat ages faster; prefer a box kept in a cool, dry place, and always check the date before use.
